Here we examine and emulate the work of famous, iconic American painter and illustrator, Bernie Fuchs (1932 – 2009).  Click here to see a video intro to Bernie Fuchs. 

In the age-old art college tradition students will learn by copying Bernie’s work, then develop their own works using these techniques, styles (often flat and graphic) and palettes.

As a young artist I was impressed and influenced a great deal by the work of Bernie Fuchs and, to my eye, his influences continue to show up in both my illustrations and paintings.
